Directions to the RC Wingers Field
From Greensboro using I-85
Take I-85 south to Exit 68 (China Grove/Landis) Highway 29.
Off Highway 29 take next exit to the right, at the top of the ramp, turn right.
Go to the first stop light and turn lef
Go to the first stop light and turn right on to highway 152
Stay on hwy 152 for 6.2 miles then turn left onto Deal rd. (Atwell one stop gas station on the left corner)
Stay on Deal Rd for 4.5 miles and then turn left onto Patterson Farm Rd.
Go 1.8 miles down Patterson Farm Rd. and our drive way is on the right. (429 Patterson Farm Rd.)
From Charlotte using I-85
On I-85 north bound take exit 52
At the top of exit ramp take a left onto Poplar Tent
Go 0.9 miles to the light and take a right onto Odell School Rd.
Stay on Odell School Rd for 6.8 miles until you come to stop sign
Turn left onto highway 3 and go for 1.8 miles then turn right on Patterson Farm Rd.
Go 1.3 miles down Patterson Farm Rd. and our drive way is on the left
From Statesville using I-77
On I-77 south take exit 36
Turn left at the light at top of exit ramp onto highway 150
At the 6th stop light turn right onto highway 3 (ABC store on the corner)
Stay on highway 3 for 7.1 miles and turn left onto Patterson Farm Rd.
Go 1.3 miles down Patterson Farm Rd. and our drive way is on the left
From Charlotte/Davidson using I-77
On I-77 north take exit 36
Turn right at the light at top of exit ramp onto highway 150
At the 5th stop light turn right onto highway 3 (ABC store on the corner)
Stay on highway 3 for 7.1 miles and turn left onto Patterson Farm Rd.
Go 1.3 miles down Patterson Farm Rd. and our drive way is on the left
 
Club Field Rules
 
 
1.
No one shall turn on a transmitter or receiver without obtaining the correct frequency pin from the frequency board and using a valid AMA card.
 
 
2.
No engines shall be started in the pit area.
 
 
3.
Engines can be run on the tables for test purposes as long as the aircraft or helicopter is properly restrained.
 
 
4.
No aircraft will be permitted to taxi in the pit area.
 
 
5.
Any helicopter shall be started and carried to the runway.
 
 
6.
All pilots shall make it known to other pilots of their intensions in taking off, landing, engine out landing or stopped on the runway.
 
 
7.
All aircraft started on the ground should be properly restrained.
 
 
8.
Pilots shall perform takeoff and landing as the wind direction dictates unless under emergency conditions.
 
 
9.
If a pilot losses control of their aircraft for any reason, they shall make everyone aware of the situation.
 
 
10.
The flight boundaries are posted on the bulletin board and will be followed without exception except full loss of control.
 
 
11.
No pilot shall fly their aircraft behind the pit area or fly their aircraft toward the pit area.
 
 
12.
No pilot shall fly his or her aircraft in a reckless or dangerous manner.
 
 
13.
Only members and pilots shall be permitted in the pit area. Club members may escort non-members and pilots.
 
 
NOTE: THESE RULES APPLY TO ANYONE WHO FLIES AT THIS FACILITY. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
